City commemorates Firefighters’ National Memorial Day on Sunday, September 10

The flags at all City of Ottawa facilities will be lowered to half-mast from sunrise to sunset on Sunday, September 10 to commemorate Firefighters’ National Memorial Day. This day is observed to honour the courageous and committed firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty.
