Flag at Navan Memorial Centre lowered to half-mast in memory of Linda Dunn

The flag at the Navan Memorial Centre will be lowered to half-mast from sunrise on Saturday, July 8 to sunrise on Sunday, July 9 in honour of the late Linda Dunn who passed away on Tuesday, January 24.

Ms. Dunn was a councillor and deputy mayor of the former Cumberland Township from 1986 to 1991. She was also co-founder of the Eastern Valley Cooperative Nursery School in Navan and editor and journalist of the Cumberland Communiqué. A park in Orleans, Linda Dunn Park, bears her name in recognition of her service to the former Cumberland Township.

Ms. Dunn’s memorial is scheduled for Saturday, July 8.
