Community Safety and Well-Being Fund - closed

On December 8, 2021, Ottawa City Council approved the transfer of $2.1M in unallocated funds from the 2022 City Budget to the Community and Social Services Department budget in support of the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan, in collaboration with the Guiding Council.

Funding for the Community Safety and Well-Being und (CSWBF) will be allocated in 3-year project funding towards scaling up or improving a program or project currently being delivered successfully. This funding is not for new projects.

Safer Alternate Response for Mental Health and Substance Use Crises - open

The Ottawa Guiding Council on Mental Health and Addictions and the City of Ottawa invites local not-for-profit health and/or social service organizations to apply to lead the Response Service Delivery pillar of the Safer Alternate Response for Mental Health and Substance Use Crises Prototype.
