Start your development application search.
This search tool has been designed to give citizens greater access to development applications that have been submitted to the City of Ottawa. You can use this tool to locate applications in your neighbourhood, review the reports and plans submitted with the application, and to provide your input. Within each application, there’s a direct link for you to send comments to the City staff member or File Lead who is in charge of reviewing the application.
It is important to note that all materials posted in support of a development application are removed from the web site 5 years after a decision has been granted. In addition, materials supporting development applications submitted prior to February 1, 2008 are not available for online viewing.
It is recommended that you download the development application plans, studies and reports if you require it for future reference.
For more information about the search tool, check the Frequently Asked Questions.
Applications are only available online if they are subject to public consultation, meaning that the application falls into one of the following categories:
- Site Plan Control
- Official Plan Amendment
- Zoning By-law Amendment
- Demolition Control
- Plan of Subdivision
- Plan of Condominium
Where possible, a plan illustrating the proposal will also be made available online.
The City will make every effort to post new information on development applications on this site as the information becomes available; however, users must be aware that some delays may occur.
