The Below Market Rent (BMR) Program helps low- and moderate income households with housing costs. Rents for these units are fixed at up to 80 per cent of the average market rent as posted by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation for the City of Ottawa.

- Fill out an Application for Below Market Rent Housing in Ottawa with The Social Housing Registry of Ottawa. Be sure to check off the Below Market Rent Housing Provider(s) you are interested in on the application to be considered for housing.
- Your name will be added to the Centralized Wait List for BMR housing.
