Listing community organizations

The "Community organization listing" is a self-declaration page for qualified organizations to list their community organization. Neighbourhood based partners and community organizations offer a variety of recreation and cultural programs and services for the greater community. The City encourages qualified organizations to list their community organization within the appropriate classification.

The "Community organization listing" provides residents of Ottawa with contact information about local sports, recreation and cultural organizations. The City recommends community organizations review and update their contact information at least once annually (e.g., following the organizations Annual General Meeting).

If your organization meets the eligibility criteria, please complete the online form to list or update information on your community organization.

Does your organization qualify?

You must meet all of the following eligibility criteria:

  • A partner/affiliate of the Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services branch, City of Ottawa, or, a not-for-profit organization.
  • A community-based organization.
  • An organization that has the sole purpose of providing a variety of leisure programs, activities and/or services that are recreational, instructional and/or cultural in nature.
  • An organization which provides programs and/or services which benefit the residents of Ottawa.
