E-scooters must be parked upright in appropriate sidewalk-adjacent locations (i.e. in furniture zones on sidewalks that are at least 2 metres wide, which is the area closest to the curb in line with trees, benches and bike racks and out of the way of pedestrian travel).
A 2 metre clearance of foot paths must be provided at all times when parking an e-scooter. E-scooters can also be parked in one of the designated parking areas demarcated with green signs and markings on the ground.
If you’ve encountered a mis-parked e-scooter (including e-scooters on the ground or blocking the sidewalk), please submit a report. The company in question will then have 15 minutes to respond and resolve the issue.
E-scooter are prohibited from riding on the sidewalk. If you see an e-scooter riding on the sidewalk, please submit a report.
Please submit a report if you have been in, or are a witness to, an accident or collision involving an e-scooter.
If you require medical assistance, please contact 9-1-1 immediately.
If you’ve encountered a damaged and/or defective e-scooter, please submit a report. The appropriate e-scooter vendor will respond and resolve the issue within 15 minutes.
