Earth of Kanata 45°18'N - 75°55'W

This large mosaic depicts soil in a ploughed field in Kanata. Long furrows are depicted using a range of earth-toned tiles. The imagery is a reference to Kanata’s history as a farming community and to its present and future role in preserving local resources.
