Wanderer

Wanderer is composed of multiple glass panels in the facility’s Multi-Faith Worship Centre. The piece celebrates the journey of bird migration, as each year billions of birds navigate from one geographic area to another. This pilgrimage is guided by an internal magnetic compass and by the mountains and rivers of our planet. The imagery in each unique cast glass panel combines flight with references to food sources and habitats.
