City Council meeting video with Closed Captioning is available in both French and English courtesy of Rogers TV.

For most Standing Committees, Sub-Committees and Transit Commission, the meeting audio is available in the language being spoken in the meeting room.

For upcoming Council and Standing Committee meetings use E-Agenda. You can search meeting materials, see voting records, or listen to or view standing committee audiocasts and Council webcasts. Please note that Internet Explorer and Silverlight are required for the meeting audio and video.

Upcoming meetings of the Ottawa Board of Health, Ottawa Police Services Board (link is external), Ottawa Public Library Board (link is external) and Committee of Adjustment can also be found in E-Agenda.

Please note that the E-Agenda page will soon have a new look and functionality. The City of Ottawa is implementing an interim media streaming solution to address previously identified technical issues. This interim solution will allow access to the Council and Committee Meetings page across a wider variety of devices and web browsers, and access the audio/video of those meetings, where available.

Please note: Committee and Transit Commission agendas are released one week prior to the meeting date and draft Council agendas are released five calendar days prior to the meeting date. Dispositions are published following the conclusion of the meeting. Meeting minutes are confirmed by Committee, Commission or by City Council at the subsequent meeting.

Proposed Street Closure

Part of the Untravelled Portion of Robertson Road and Three Segments of Untravelled Road Allowances within the Greenbelt South of Bells Corners.

The Council of the City of Ottawa proposes to close an untravelled portion of the Robertson Road right of way, as well as three segments, each approximately 1 kilometre in length, of untravelled road allowances located within the Greenbelt and south of the Bells Corners community.

Subject to approval of the proposed road closures, the lands are intended to be conveyed to the National Capital Commission in exchange for land assets that will benefit the City’s Kanata South Link Project.

The Planning Committee and Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee will hear, in person or by counsel or agent, any person who applies to be heard concerning this closure.  If you have objections, please contact in writing the undersigned on or before July 3, 2018.

Proposed Street Closure
Portions of Bronson Avenue, and Wellington and Sparks Streets

The Council of the City of Ottawa proposes to close portions of Bronson Avenue, Wellington Street, and Sparks Street. The portions of the existing road allowances are not currently developed for or travelled by vehicles. They are immediately adjacent to and informally part of the Garden of the Provinces and Territories, which is located at the western end of Sparks Street between Sparks Street to the south and Wellington Street (also known as Confederation Boulevard) to the north.

As part of the Memorandum of Understanding with the National Capital Commission, for property rights acquired by the City of Ottawa for the Rideau Canal Crossing (pedestrian bridge), the City agreed to exchange, subject to approval of this road closure application, the subject road allowances.

The Planning Committee will hear, in person or by counsel or agent, any person who applies to be heard concerning this closure. If you have objections, please contact in writing the undersigned on or before May 18, 2018.

Proposed Street Closure
2053 Beaverhill Drive

The Council of the City of Ottawa proposes to close a portion of Part of Lot 17, Concession 1, (O.F.), geographic Township of Gloucester being part of Parts 1 and 2 on Plan 4R-2836.

The purpose of the street or lane closure is to close the portion of Beaverhill Drive that was part of a turning circle which was temporary until the next phase of the subdivision was constructed.

Proposed Roadway Modifications

Pursuant to By-law No. 2011–122, the City of Ottawa is providing notice to the public of its intention to approve road modifications at the following locations in accordance with the authority under By-law No. 2011-28:

Bronson Avenue, 215 metres south of Sunnyside Avenue

  • New right-in/right-out access on the west side of Bronson Avenue, 215 metres south of Sunnyside Avenue
  • New southbound right-turn lane at proposed access
  • New cycle track and cross-ride at proposed access
