Please note that the City of Ottawa is transitioning to a new E-Agenda software in 2019. Try out the interim version of our new portal , where you can view and search meeting materials, or listen to or view standing committee audiocasts and Council webcasts. To access this content, you will need:

  • Most recent version of Google Chrome, Firefox, MS Edge, or Safari
  • Operating system: Windows 7+, Mac OS X 10.7+, or Ubuntu 10+
  • Internet connection with 1+ Mbps

During the transition period, you can also continue to access Committee and Council materials through the existing SIRE E-Agenda, page, which works best on Internet Explorer.

City Council meeting video with Closed Captioning is available in both French and English courtesy of Rogers TV. For most Standing Committees, Sub-Committees, Transit Commission and the Police Services Board, the meeting audio is available in the language being spoken in the meeting room.

Please note: Committee and Transit Commission agendas are typically released one week prior to the meeting date and draft Council agendas are released seven calendar days prior to the meeting date. Dispositions are published following the conclusion of the meeting. Meeting minutes are confirmed by Committee, Commission or by City Council at the subsequent meeting.

Proposed Street Closure

Cable Crescent (adjacent to 2429 Fairmile Road)

The Council of the City of Ottawa proposes to close an untraveled  road allowance at Fairmile View Park (adjacent to 2429 Fairmile Road).  

The purpose of the application is to close Cable Crescent, an untraveled road allowance, and add the land to Fairmile View Park. The proposed park expansion will be used for park improvement such as a new playground, pathway and other amenities. 

The Planning Committee will hear, in person or by counsel or agent, any person who applies to be heard concerning this closure.  If you have objections, please contact in writing the undersigned on or before January 29, 2019.

Proposed Street Closure

9460 Mitch Owens Road and 5606, 5630, 5592 Boundary Road

The Council of the City of Ottawa proposes to close an untraveled and un-named road allowance that was intended to serve the properties at 9460 Mitch Owens Road and 5606, 5630 and 5592 Boundary Road. These four lots remain vacant and the road was not built.

The purpose of the street or lane closure is to allow the applicant to consolidate the five parcels for future development.

The Planning Committee will hear, in person or by counsel or agent, any person who applies to be heard concerning this closure.  If you have objections, please contact in writing the undersigned on or before 13 December 2019.

Proposed Street Closure

Part of Sussex Drive, which is currently a travelled road allowance

The Council of the City of Ottawa proposes to close portions of of Sussex Drive.

The purpose of the street closure application is to close travelled portion of Sussex Drive which are located between Boteler Street and Cathcart Street on the west side of Sussex Drive. The portions of the road that are proposed to be closed are currently within the Sussex Drive right of way, however are not a travelled, rather they are currently landscaped sections within the right of way.
The Planning Committee will hear, in person or by counsel or agent, any person who applies to be heard concerning this closure. If you have objections, please contact in writing the undersigned on or before February 19, 2019.

Official Plan and Zoning

If a person or public body files a notice of appeal of a decision of the City of Ottawa with respect to the proposed Official Plan or Zoning By-law amendment but does not speak at the public meeting or submit their comments in writing to the City of Ottawa before the proposed amendments are adopted, the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal may dismiss all or part of the appeal.
