City commemorates Firefighters’ National Memorial Day on Sunday, September 8

The flags at all City of Ottawa facilities will be lowered to half-mast from sunrise to sunset on Sunday, September 8 to commemorate Firefighters’ National Memorial Day. This day is observed to honour the courageous and committed firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty.
