The Built Heritage Committee today approved an application to alter 514 Manor Avenue, a property in the Rockcliffe Park Heritage Conservation District designated under Part V of the Ontario Heritage Act.

The changes include a one-storey addition and a below-grade garage with an accessory pool house above. The proposed additions would be positioned to minimize the impact on existing landscaping. Approval is conditional, however, requiring the owner to restore the home’s front entrance canopy, reinstate an original border wall along Hillcrest Drive and submit a final landscape plan and tree information report.

This item will rise to Council for consideration on Wednesday, May 10.
