In-person workshops begin next week over the first draft of City’s new Zoning By-law

Beginning Tuesday, October 1, the City will host a series of in-person workshops to helps explain and receive feedback on the first draft of the new Zoning By-law.

The Zoning By-law is a set of regulations that sets rules on what can be built on a property without having to seek specific permission. Residents are encouraged to review the draft by-law(link is external) and provide feedback both online and in person at any of these workshops:

  • Ray Friel Recreation Complex
    • Tuesday, October 1
  • John G. Mlacak Community Centre
    • Tuesday, October 8
  • Fred Barrett Arena
    • ​​​​​​​Tuesday, October 15
  • Ottawa City Hall
    • ​​​​​​​Tuesday, October 22
  • Confederation Education Centre
    • ​​​​​​​Tuesday, November 5

All workshops are from 6:30 to 8 pm.
