Planned maintenance extended on O-Train Line 1

O-Train Line 1 will have additional temporary closures on Thursday, November 7 and Sunday, November 10. Regular O-Train service will resume along the entire line on Monday, November 11.

Line 1 service will be affected on the following days:

On Thursday, November 7:

  • O-Train Line 1 will close early between Tunney’s Pasture and Hurdman stations at 11 pm.
  • R1 bus service will run between Tunney’s Pasture and Hurdman stations for the remaining service hours.
  • O-Train Line 1 will continue to run between Hurdman and Blair stations.

On Sunday, November 10:

  • O-Train Line 1 will run between Tunney’s Pasture and uOttawa stations all day.
  • R1 bus service will run between Rideau and Blair stations all day.
  • Shuttle bus service will run between Cyrville and St-Laurent stations, and between Lees Station and Mackenzie King Bridge.

On Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 9, regular Line 1 service will operate as usual.

The additional temporary closures will Allow Rideau Transit Maintenance to complete required work that will contribute to the overall reliability of the O-Train Line 1 system.
