Starting at 6 am on Saturday, September 7 until 6 pm on Sunday, September 8, Colonel By Drive will be closed from Hawthorne Avenue/Pretoria Bridge to Daly Avenue.
This closure is part of work to facilitate the Mackenzie King Bridge renewal project and is required for the installation of a temporary access platform over Colonel By Drive at the Mackenzie King Bridge.
Traffic impacts and OC Transpo
Vehicle traffic will be detoured via Elgin Street and Nicholas Street and signage will be in place for the duration of the closure.
There are no impacts to OC Transpo bus routes.
Pedestrians and cyclists
There are no impacts for pedestrians and cyclists.
