Accessibility training requirements for volunteers

Welcome to the City of Ottawa’s mandatory accessibility training for volunteers.

If you become a volunteer, you will be required to complete the following two Accessibility training courses:

Accessible Customer Service training
Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR) training for volunteers

Important: Please notify your Coordinator of Volunteers by email upon completion.

Accessible customer service training

The Accessible Customer Service training provides you with a general overview of the Province of Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards.

Please notify your coordinator of volunteers by email upon completion.
