Employment Ontario helps residents acquire the training, skills and experience required to achieve their goals. At Employment Ontario, we connect jobseekers with employers who are hiring.

Job seekers

If you need help finding a job, putting together a résumé, improving your interview techniques, or upgrading your skills, Employment Ontario is here for you. We are your one-stop shop for all the help you need to find the job you’re looking for.

We offer job fairs, job postings, job matching, job retention services, and employment specialists who can provide one-on-one coaching. Visit us for assessment and referral to Employment Ontario programs such as Second CareerYouth Job ConnectionYouth Job Connection Summer, Ontario Job Creation Partnership, and Apprenticeship. The centre also offers free on-site childcare and free access to computers with Internet access, telephones, fax machines and photocopiers.


Visit our assessment centre to talk to an employment specialist in-person. This service is currently not available in-person due to COVID-19 closures.

Social Service Centre resource areas

The Social Service Centres provide services and support, including an employment resource area that is open to the public on a drop-in basis. You can access a range of free services, including:

  • Computers, printers, fax machines, photocopiers and phones
  • Job postings and Internet for job search
  • Employment and computer workshops
  • Help from trained staff
  • Free on-site child care for children ages six months to six years
