This consolidation of the City of Ottawa Zoning By-law, By-law 2008-250 and the amendments thereto, is prepared for reference purposes only. The Comprehensive Zoning By-law, approved June 25, 2008 by City Council, is a set of regulations to control development in the City of Ottawa. Zoning by-laws are enabled by the Ontario Planning Act, R.S.O.1990 (Section 34) to regulate the use of land and the location of buildings and structures.

This section provides a listing of those sections of the by-law that are applicable to the Rural and Greenbelt areas. As a result, the section numbering may appear to be incomplete as other sections have been intentionally omitted.
