Ann Piché - structured water

February 6 to April 22, 2025

Vernissage: Thursday, February 6, 2025, 5:30-7:30 pm

Photo-based artist Ann Piché leverages her experience as the first female electronic technician in the RCMP to create visual connections between science and art. Her images, which are not software-generated, explore abstraction and experimental techniques. The recipient of multiple grants, Ann has been exhibited and published in Canada and internationally.

What is water?

In the photographic exhibition structured water, Ann Piché collaborates with elementary students to explore this question. Using experimental camera techniques, she reinterprets the students' thoughts and ideas, transforming ordinary objects into water-inspired images. The students’ artwork reflects their own interpretations. The exhibition highlights the different ways we see and think about water.

Low Tide - A serene digital print with soft blue, pink, and orange gradients, evoking a tranquil shoreline.
