Earlier today, the City of Ottawa recognized Tony Graham Automotive Group for their community support and investment in youth recreational programming.

Over the next 10 years, Tony Graham Automotive Group will invest $1 million dollars with the City – $100,000 per year – for the naming rights to the Kanata Recreation Complex.

A portion of the contribution will also go towards enhancing community events, programming and amenities at this facility, which was unveiled this morning with a refreshed look as the Tony Graham Recreation Complex – Kanata.

In addition to naming rights and enhancements at this facility, Tony Graham Automotive Group is investing in recreation programming for youth aged 13 to 17 in communities across Ottawa. Tony Graham Automotive Group is sponsoring youth basketball tournaments twice a year and free access to cardio and weight rooms at various City recreation facilities during the summer months.

For all of this support, the City recognizes Tony Graham Automotive Group as a Community Champion "Leader" in the Community Champions Program. The Community Champions Program invites businesses, community organizations, foundations and individuals to partner with the City of Ottawa to help deliver programs and services to residents.

“Thank you to the Graham family who has spent years dedicating themselves to community building and service. The City of Ottawa is proud to award the naming rights for the Kanata Recreation Complex to the Tony Graham Automotive Group. Thanks to their generous investment, recreational programming will continue to thrive in our community for years to come.”

Mayor Mark Sutcliffe

“Through this sponsorship, Tony Graham Automotive Group is investing in community recreation and providing opportunities for our youth to not only be active, but to form new friendships, develop new skills and, most importantly, to connect with their community through grassroots programming.”

Councillor Allan Hubley, Kanata South Ward

“This is a wonderful example of an Ottawa business giving back to the community. Thank you, Tony Graham Automotive Group, for seeing the potential in all of Ottawa’s youth and sponsoring these activities at recreation facilities throughout the city.”
