Starting Monday, July 15, Scott Street westbound will be closed from Bayview Station Road to Parkdale Avenue, with a detour on Bayview Station Road to Burnside and Parkdale avenues. There will be no impact to the eastbound lanes. The closure will be in effect until early September.
The closure is required to facilitate work on the Scott Street Protected Intersections project which includes the renewal of the existing watermain, adding protected intersections at Parkdale and Carruthers avenues and Bayview Station Road, improvements to pedestrian and cycling facilities, and removing the transit lanes along Scott Street from Holland Avenue to Bayview Station Road.
Slowdowns are expected through the construction zone and residents may wish to find alternate routes where possible.
Traffic impacts and OC Transpo

Pedestrians and cyclists
