Water and Wastewater Networks

The Geographic Information System (GIS) and Data Services Group is responsible for the daily maintenance of both the water distribution system and the sanitary and storm collection systems across the entire City of Ottawa within an enterprise GIS. This data is used by the operating groups and various departments for maintenance purposes, planning and renewal.

Currently, there are two map products available:   Water Distribution System, and the Sanitary and Storm Collection Systems. These are indexed maps depicting the locations and associated details of the infrastructure networks at scales of 1:2,500.
