Ontario Electricity Support Program

Ontario Energy Board's Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) lowers electricity bills for low-income households. The OESP provides a monthly hydro credit to eligible customers based on household income and household size.

Low-income customers of an electricity utility can apply for a reduction in their electricity bill. The OESP will reduce the cost of a household electricity by applying a monthly credit directly to the bill.  The credit will depend on how many people live in the home and their combined household income.

For more information, contact the Ontario Electricity Support Program.
