First aid and CPR courses

COVID-19 and First aid and CPR courses

The Ottawa Paramedic Service remains in a “response mode” throughout this pandemic. This means that entry to the Ottawa Paramedic Headquarters is extremely restricted and remains off limits to the public. No courses can be held at this location during the pandemic due to public safety concerns.

We will be holding a limited number of courses for public registration - please see individual course types below for dates.

While Ottawa has moved into the Red Zone – Control restriction level, the Ottawa Paramedic Service is able to continue holding first aid and CPR courses. All courses must comply with the new restrictions as outlined in Provincial COVID-19 response framework. Enhanced cleaning and safety precautions have been enacted to ensure safety throughout the course..

The Ottawa Paramedic Service will hold private group training for groups able to provide their own venue, so long as it satisfies Provincially mandated COVID-19 restrictions
