Nepean Seniors Recreation Centre

With the announcement of new provincial restrictions to slow the spread of COVID-19, the City has announced the closure of fitness centres and the suspension of fitness classes and aquafitness. In addition, skating, kindergym, squash, racquetball and volleyball programs have been suspended. These restrictions take effect October 10 and will remain for 28 days.

The Nepean Seniors Recreation Centre offers recreation programs, day trips, multi-day trips, and social events for adults 50 years of age and over. The Seniors Centre also offers registered programs in fitness, Bridge lessons, tap dancing, line dancing and Tai Chi.

Membership is $27 for a full calendar year and allows members to take part in the activities as well as special events and discounts on registered programs offered by the Seniors Centre.

The Seniors Centre’s main multi-purpose space, the Heritage Room, has a capacity of 90 people and is available for rent in the evenings. There is also a small kitchen and a meeting room with access to the covered patio, suitable for crafts, meetings and socials. A smart site computer is available for public use. Outdoor walking trails are across the parking lot. For further information about hall rentals, pool, athletic centre and arenas, visit the Nepean Sportsplex.
