Lifeguard and swimming instructors

If you are thinking of applying for a position with the City of Ottawa as a lifeguard or swimming instructor, there are certain hiring and screening requirements that must be met. National Lifeguard Service (NLS), Standard First Aid, CPR level-C, Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI), LSS Lifesaving Instructor, Automated External Defibrillation (AED) and Oxygen Therapy or Airway Management represent pre-requisites for hire with the City of Ottawa. Public Library (OPL) Business Services offers new entrepreneurs a range of information from marketing to how-to-start a business. Business librarians provide one-on-one business consultations, by appointment, at all library branches.
