Applicants and the public can attend hearings in person (main floor Chamber at Ben Franklin Place, 101 Centrepointe Drive) or by videoconference with a computer, smartphone, cell phone, or telephone.
Also Live-streamed on our YouTube Channel with subtitles/closed captioning generally available 24 hours after the hearing (through YouTube’s limited speech recognition technology and automatic translation offered in various languages).
To help balance the agendas and workload between the panels, applications usually assigned to one panel may be assigned to another. Please consult all three panel agendas.

Declarations of interest
The Municipal Conflict of Interest Act requires Committee of Adjustment Members to disclose any direct or indirect pecuniary interest in an application prior to its consideration before any panel, and to file a written statement of the interest and its general nature with the Secretary-Treasurer. Members are also subject to the City’s Code of Conduct for Members of Local Boards.
The Committee is required to make a registry of declarations of interest available for public inspection. This registry includes an extract of each written statement a Member files and a link to the hearing agenda and application details. Original declarations of interest on file may be viewed by contacting Committee staff.
