A Heritage Status Letter is formal correspondence from the City confirming whether the property in question is subject to Part IV, Part V or Section 27 of the Ontario Heritage Act.
Upon receipt of an application and the payment of the applicable fee, City staff will investigate the property to determine any applicable heritage status and issue a formal letter confirming whether the property in question is subject to Part IV, Part V or Section 27 of the Ontario Heritage Act.
The fee for a Heritage Status Letter (effective April 1, 2023) is $222.00.
