Terry Fox Athletic Facility

As part of the Province of Ontario framework for re-opening the Terry Fox Athletic Facility is open with limited access for recognized organizations and athletes for track and field and for Public use.

Reservation Required

You can now reserve a spot for track and field training or fitness by sending your reservation request to or by phone 613-580-3575.

Activities will be done at a physical distance of two metres between participants, follow the current Provincial restrictions on group sizes and COVID-19 Guidance for Essential Workplaces protocols to ensure a safe space for employees and users of the facility.

Locker rooms and spectator areas will remain closed.

This extensive track and field and sports field complex includes a polyurethane running track, as well as, three lighted natural grass sports fields suitable for:

  • Soccer
  • Rugby
  • Lacrosse
  • Cross-country running
  • Ultimate
  • Various field sports

During the winter, the facility turns into a cross-country ski centre (Mooney's Bay Ski Centre) featuring five kilometre of track set lit trails for classic and skate-skiing and includes a ski school for all ages and abilities.
