Terry Fox Athletic Facility

This outdoor sports facility features an extensive outdoor track and field complex featuring an international standard lighted 400-metre polyurethane-surfaced eight-lane running track with multiple throwing and jumping event facilities. The facility also has 3 lighted premium classed sports fields.

During the winter, the facility turns into a cross-country ski centre (Mooney's Bay Ski Centre) featuring five-kilometre of track set lit trails for classic and skate-skiing and includes a ski school for all ages and abilities.

Schedules

As of June 12 at 6 pm, you can reserve a spot for our track and field programs, which will be open to all levels and ages of track and field athletes during the times listed in Hours of Operation.

  • Track
  • West field (includes javelin and throw cages)
  • North warm up track

Details

  • Select the button below to reserve your spot. Available sessions for the next two days will be displayed in green and are 90 minutes in length.
  • Reserve your space as of 6 pm for up to two days in advance.
  • Please show up no more than 15 minutes prior to your reservation.
  • Your spot is reserved up to 10 minutes after the start of the session.
  • You can reserve one session per day.
  • If you are unable to reserve a spot online, you can make a walk-in reservation on the day of, if there are spaces remaining. To avoid disappointment, we strongly encourage you to reserve your space online.
  • Payment can be made on-site.
  • You can book a maximum of four spaces at a time.
  • Children must be accompanied by a participating adult or youth, at least 14 years of age.
  • Equipment is available onsite. Please call the facility for more information.
