About the Ottawa Paramedic Service

The Ottawa Paramedic Service delivers medical treatment for life-threatening medical emergencies including heart attacks, strokes, respiratory and traumatic injuries and covers an area of 2,796 sq. km.

Paramedics make presentations at schools or community groups in order to inform and educate students and residents about injury and illness prevention.

Personal health information is collected to help provide you with care and service by Paramedics and other health care providers (e.g. at receiving facility) or to process payments for health related services.
